Garden Club Plant Sale
ini' Rappahannock Carden chi!) mcmix. i - 'a : 11 hold a plant -ale hat a1 day, April 1 between 11 a.in. and p.m. at-the Courthouse in Washington. The dull members are h sy with preparations for the sale of plant'-flowering perennials, annuals, and shrubs.
Mo.-t of tiie plants for sale are being donated by club members and will be offered at very reasonable prices. As a special attraction there will be 100 or more giant blooming commercial pansies, to be sold by the club on a percentage basis.
All persons are invited to attend the sale and purchase whatever plants they need.
Caiden club members are requested to biing or send their contributions from 10 to 10:30 Saturday morning, or notify Mrs. L. -J. Kilby, Sperryville, if they want someone to call for the donations.
Any plants not sold will be given to the committee working on the Courthouse beautification project or to the club’s own roadside improvement committee.
