The American Legion is beginning their project of beautitification of the highways of the county. Perhaps some of us who wish to contribute -dogwood, red bud, or forsythia will not be as a friend of mine. She wished to plant dogwood and redbud around the fencerows^hnt hpr tronhle wasthat unless they were in bloom she didn’t recognize them. In the season of bloom she knew it would be fatal to move them, so she took herself upon a hike and tied rags around the ones desired, the proper number of dogwood and the proper number of red bud. When an appropriate time arrived for the moving, there they were, all marked. It is stil! a good idea for tho-e w' o can't tell the trees when not in bloom.
