Prize Winners

Rappahannock

Grand prizes won at Rappahannock County Fair Saturday, September 30, were won by Katherine Carter in Department I, Mrs. Jack Bruce with 34 points in Department II, Clarence Racer with 18 points in Department IV, Kelly Updike with 7 points, Department VI, and Glen Updike with 12 points in Department VII.

Judges for canned goods, flowers, sewing, handicraft, fancy work, were Miss Clara Miller, assistant home agent of Warren county and Miss Doris Stickley, home economics teacher in Front Royal. The judge for the 4-H club work was Miss Viola Navy, and for the vegetables and fruits was D. H. Teske of V.P.I. Judging? grains and hay was George D. Jones of Orange. Livestock was judged by Bob Periode of Front Royal.

The Northern Virginia Power Company door prizes were won by Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., a lamp, and by Mrs. Paul Walker, a pereulator. —?? *
