Also in the contest were the young fry of the county, dressed as very attractive ladies. Page Moffett won first prize, Ronnie Hawkins second, and Ronnie Chadwell 3rd.' .

The Hill Billy Minstrel *Show was a huge success, from the laughter heard from the crowd and the fun that was had by all that attended,. The minstrel was given by the Auxiliary of the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Company. Proceeds from the show were f 85.00. The minstrel was conducted by Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintanfe and had a cast of 18.
