AT A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA, HELD AT THE COURT HOUSE OF SAID COUNTY ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 5, 1950.

RESOLUTION Upon the motion of J. P. Cook, seconded by H. B. Wood and unanimously adopted by the Board, it •is ordered that tffte County of Rappahannock impose and collect a license tax on all Slot Machines operated by any person, firm or corporation in the County of Rappahannock, said license tax shall be $25.00 for each slot machine so operated; it is hereby further ordered that the County of Rappahannock shall impose and collect a license tax for each coinop&ated musical machine or musical device that operates on the coin-in-the-slot principle, and also all vending machines taxable by the State of Virginia as set forth and described in Sec. 198 of the Tax Code of Virginia, page 137, the said license tax on all slot * machines, musical machines and vending machines is hereby fixed by the Board as the same licence tax as fixed and collected by the State of Virginia pursuant to Sec. 198 of the Tax Code of Virginia, page 137. For authority for imposing and collecting said County License Tax above mentioned, reference is hereby made to paragraph (g) of said Sec. 198 of said Tax Code.

This Resolution to become effective on January 1, 1951. .

that a copy of said Resolution be delivered to the Commissioner of the Revenue of Rappahannock County.

Any person, firm or corporation having any such slot machine or other devices * above' mentioned, and failing to procure a county license therefor, shall be subject to a FINE of not less than FIFTY DOLLARS nor more than FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS For Each Offense. A Copy—Teste:
