* Moving time began Saturday in •Sperryville, when Mr. and Mr*. George L. Woodard and their daughter, Miss Maude Woodard left to make their home in Culpeper, where Mr. Woodard had been transferred by the} Statd Highway Department. They, had Ihed in the Schwartz house for a number of years. Their son-inlaw and daughter Mr. and Mrs George E. Woodard and infaht daughter will move into this house since they have sold their house to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Woodard, Who have been occupying the cottage in Miss Louise O’Bannon’a yard for the past two years.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Johnson, Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and daughters Edna Yates and Susan, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Payne and eon, Joe were dinner guests Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs*, J, B. Johnson, Jr., in Strasburg. vi’.'

Mrs. James Brasher of College Park, Maryland, was a week-end visitor of her mother, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock at the Lee Highway Hotel., Mrs. Sealock returned with Mrs. Brasher on Sunday to spend several days with Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Brown in Alexandria. Accompanying Mrs. Brasher was Mrs. Harriette S. Broy who spent the week end with Mrs. James Yates; Mr* Minor Br'Lewis, Jr„ of Washington, D.C., who was a week-end visitor of Mrs. Jaenie Jarvis in the home of Mrs. Carroll Mehefee; and Mrs. Marie S. Smith who is ’ spending some time with Mrs. Della Howard at the Lee Highway Hotel. ■ j. ;

Visitors of Mrs. John Wood ofjf Luray who has just returned to her home from Winchester Memorial Hospital Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell, Mrs. C. J. Miller, Mrs. Dudley Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood, and > daughters Minta and Ruth and Frances Wood.

Strasburg, was an over-night guest/ Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Johnson.

Mrs. Clarice Singleton Munday of SperryviRe, has accepted apposition as .bookkeeper at the Rappahannock Motor Company. .

Mrs. Annie Taylor Bruce of Front Royal was a week-end guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Brown.

Llewellyn Tapp of . Arlington spent last Monday night at the home of Mrs. Neddie Tapp.

Walter N. Rector, who has spent the past two weeks in Richmond, visiting his daughter, Mrs. Delia May Goodman, returned to his home Saturday. Mr. Rector was accompanied home by his grandson, Walter Goodman, Mrs. Goodman and baby, who remained for a week-end visit in the Rector home.
