Dr. J. P. Snead Attends Meeting In Roanoke
Dr. J. P. Snead will attend the meeting of the Virginia Medical Society at Roanoke, Virginia and Will be out of his office, October 8-9-10.
Brown Cannon
Brown Cannon, age 49, the son at the University of Virginia hosMrs. Cannon, of Castleton, died at teh University of Virginia Hospital, Wednesday, after an illness of two years. Mr. Cannon had been living in Arlington.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. B. R. Cannon; three brothers, William D. Cannon, of Culpeper; Howard Cannon, of New York; and Frank Cannon, of Arlington; also four sisters,' Mrs. Lucy Pierce of Occoquan; Mrs. Anna Bryce Williams of Front Royal; Mrs. Clara Haley, of Waynesboro; and Mrs. Alice Spicer at home.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. from the Geest Funeral Parlor in Culpeper, with) interment at the ceme'tery -in Culpeper. ' - ‘.

Col. Harrison Richads of Riverton was a dinner “guest Friday evening of Mrs. Elisabeth DeBergh and Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh at their home, “Harris Hollow Farm.” For the week end Mrs. DeBergh had as her guest Miss Florence Fitzgerald. Lieut. James Van L. DeBergh was an overnight guest Sunday at Harris Hollow Farm.
