All Crimson Clover makes a quick come back but are cut back by frosts thus it is my opinion that in this section especially when weather conditions are such as experienced recently a mixture of small grain and rye grass would provide winter pasturage more resistant to frosts than Crimson lover. T'1!
To clarify the difference between this clover and red clover which seems to be confusing some of our farmers Crimson Clover is sometimes referred to as German Clover; also crimson clover has an elongated blossom that is crimson in clover while' the blossom that is crimson in clover while the blossom of red clover iq more rounded in shape and pink in color. ;
