Small Business Problems

Hearing In' Lynchburg

Rep. Burr P. Harrison has directed the attention of businessmen in the 7th Congressional District to public hearings which will be held in Lynchburg next Monday (March 26) by the House Select Committee on Small Business.

The subject of the hearing will be "Problems of Small Business Related to the National Emergency”. It will be conducted by a subcommittee headed by Rep. Mike' Mansfield, Democrat, of Montana.

"We are fortunate in having the Hon. Clarence G. Burton of the 6th Virginia District as a member of this subcommittee," Mr. Harrison commented. "I shall be happy to transmit to Mr. Burton, for submission to the sub-commit-, tee chairman, the names of an/ businessmen of the 7th District who desire to testify at the hearing."
