They’ve finally got the cat out of the church organ. Newspapers of recent date have carried stories of the black cat hiding in the pipe organ of a church in England end no amount of persuasion could get Tommy (or Tabby—the papers never said which) to come out. The organist turned the trick. He gave a spirited rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus and the cat came out.
Now, there have been times when it was thought the church choir had a cat in it—but this is the first public record of a cat be* ing in the church organ. A piano tuner recites a list of the articles he removed from a piano in a school auditorium—a song book, two old spellers, a tomato sand-* wich, and a light bulb—but he failed to mention a cat.
