Obstructing Streets

Section 90 — Town. Code of Washington, Virginia — Obstructing Streets and Alleys—No person, firm or corporation, shall obstruct any of the streets or alleys of the town by any article, material or device or by the exhi-i ibition 'or storage of any property or materials thereon, unless such person, firm or corporation has applied to the town mayor and has obtained a permit so to do. Obstructing the streets shall consist of any partial or complete hindrance to or reduction of that portion of the streets designed for pedestrian or vehicular traffic. No vehicle, parked in accordance With the traffic or parking regulations of the town, or which may Jbe engaged in loading or. unloading any freight, cargo, or passengers, pursuant to the parking or traffic regulations of the town, shell be : deemed to be tire obstruction of the town streets. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this section shall be fined not leas than $5 nor more than $25 in the discretion of the court or jury trying the case.

Flower Show in Luray

The Spring flower show to be presented by the Luray Garden Club, will bo held Saturday, April 14, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the American Legion building. There will he three special educational exhibits, mors than 100 varieties of daffodil from Mart in Gloucester, and from Walts Brothers in Roanoke.
