MRS. WINFREY ENTERTAINS BRIDGE CLUB

Mrs. H. B. Winfrey entertained the bridge club and additional guests at her home “Sunstroke Manor” on Thursday evening. Those playing were Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. George Taylor, Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. Joe H. Aylor, Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. Billie Kilby, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. R. M. Menefee, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Mrs. Charles Estes, and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Mrs. R. G. Quaintance won the high score prize for the club and Mrs. Menefee for the non-club members. Mrs. Menefee also won the traveling prize. Mrs. Aylor won thd ‘low score prize.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie McGehee entertained at bridge Wednesday, April 4, at their home in Flint Hill, having as their guests Mr. and Mrs. Brae Wood, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mias Nancy Moon and Lide Dearing. 1st prize for men and ladies eras won by Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning.
