Cooperating with the count/ health office and Dr. Snead, the ladies of Emmanuel Episcopal church, Sperryville, are expanding the service of medical aid, designed to furnish needed equipment to any ill or crippled person in the county, regardless of race or creed.
Available on loan are wheel Chair, crutches, bed table and other bed equipment, hot water bottles, ice caps, etc. Other equipment will be added as needs arise.
The group is also making baby blankets and jackets for mothers who cannot afford to buy them. A display of some of the articles is being arranged in the window ’of Schwartz’ store in Sperryville.
Miss Louise Schwartz is custodian, and application for any of the equipment may be made to her or to Mrs. S. E. Hemng.
