The place to conduct selective service business is st the office of the local Selective Service oard.
The registrant, his dependent* and his employer should recognise the provisions of the law prohibiting a local board member from acting upon the case of any registrant in an individual capacity. The law requires that all such action shall be done by the majority of tin local board members acting as a board.
When one desires to discuss the classification of * registrant, arrangements for an appointment with tiie local board should be made through the local board clerk at the local board office. In addition to following the prescribed procedure and assuring proper consideration of evidence submitted, conducting business st the local board office extends normal business consideration to members of the local board who are busy* men in the community but from patriotic motives are contributing their services st a time when grave dangers confront every community in America.
