The Junior Methodist Club met on Tuesday evening with Miss Margaret Ann Devers in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Devers. The meeting was called to worship by the president, Miss Betty Taylor Bruce, after which the secretary, Julian Brown, read the minutes of the last meeting. Miss Margaret Ann Deveri then read the First Psalm as the Scripture lesson, followed by a prayer. Miss Elizabeth Smith lead the group singing. During the social hour games were directed by Buddy Devers and later refreshments were served by the hostess.

The Flint Hill P.-T. A. will hold a turkey dinner April 20 at the Flint Hill school, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Price of dinner $1.00

Birth Announcement

Mr. and Mrs. William Baldwin announce the birth of a daughter, Geraldine Eveline, born Monday, April 9, at Washington. Mrs. Baldwin will be remembered as Miss Cecil Burke.

BIRTHDAY PARTY

Mrs. David Anderson entertained a group of youngsters on Monday afternoon at her home in Sperryvilla in honor of her son Bill, who celebrated- his fourth birthday anniversary. Among those present were Jackie Brown, Buddy Broyles, Richie Clater, Danny Clater, David Lyne, Jimmy Wayland, Ruth Clater and Jo Ann Fox. The mothers present were Mrs. W. J. Brown, Mrs. Jame4 Broyles, Mrs. Robert Clater, Mrs. James Clater and Mrs. Joe Cox. After the games refreshments were served to the group.
