NOTICE
At a meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County, held at the Court House of said county on Wednesday, April 4, 1951.
All members of said Board being present.
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board that the law has been so amended that it is now mandatory upon the Board to pay the fair market value of sheep killed by dogs, and
WHEREAS, it further appears to the Board that sheep are not now assessed at their fair market value.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County that the Commissioner of Revenue of said County be forthwith instructed to assess all sheep in said county at their present market value. And the Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to have this resolution published in the Rappahannock News.
This motion was offered by Supervisor J. P. Cook, seconded by Supervisor H. B. Wood and was unanimously adopted by all members present. A Copy—Teste: Jas. M. Settle*
