REV. BRATHWAIT TO SPEAK
Rev. J. G. Brathwaite, of the Methodist church in Fnont Royal, will preach at the First Baptist' church in Washington Sunday afternoon at 3:00 for the usher boys.
SMEDLEY SERVICES

Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Fletcher were Mr. and Mrs. Coles of Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Williams, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Spriel of Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bridget and daughter Lou Emma spent several days recently in Harrisburg, Pa.
A surprise birthday party was given April 6, at the Horse Shoe Inn by Mrs. Lillie Hughes, Mrs. Ira Fletcher and Mrs. Frances Freeman in honor pf the Misses Mabel and Delores Freeman and Minnie Fletcher.
Miss Annie Freeman was the week-end guest of Miss Mable Freeman.
