The Candlelighters a well-known male vocal group, under the direction of Floyd Haines, will present a program in song Friday evening, June 15, at 8 p.m. at the First Baptist church in Flint Hill. On receiving news of the tragic death of William Brown, 14, ibn of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lucian Brown, George W. Brown left Monday night for Jonesville, N.C. Young Brown, who was shot in target practice about ten days ago has been lingering in the hospital seriously ill. He has often with his parents visited his uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown, and his cousine, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Anderson.
