The marriage of Miss Ann Neville Major, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Julian Neville MajWsof Riverton, a*d< ,Dr. Brooke Miller Moffett, son of Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett and the late Horatio Gates Moffett, III, of Washington, "took place Saturday evening, June '9, at 8 o'clock, in Calvary Episcopal Church, Front Royal. The wedding ceremony was performed by the Rev. Frederick G. Weber.
Given in marriage by her brother, Julian Neville Major, Jr., the bride wore a gown of ivory satin with an Elizabethan lace collar, and her full length veil,of illusion M'ell from a tiara of pearls. She carried a bouquet of white larkspurs, daisies, and a white orchid. She wore a seed pearl cross and earrings that belonged to her great-great-grandmother.
The bride’s sister, Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Fossick, was her matron df honor. Her dress was of pale blue tulle with a laced bodice and laced panels in the skirt. She carried a bouquet of pink larkspur, blue delphinium, and daisies, with matching flowers in her hair.
