Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., entertained the Flint Hill bridge club and a few visitors at her home in Flint Hill Monday evening. Richard M. Smoot__

Richard M. Smoot, died at Front Royal hospital Tuesday morning, June 5.

Son of Ernest Smoot and the late Mrs. Lula Smoot, Mr. Smoot is survived by his father and a sister, Mrs. Loring Anderson, of Washington, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Grav'esicle services were' held Thursday, June 7, in the Masonic cemetery at Washington, with Rev. R. H. Scroggins conducting the services.
