The Catholic Motor Chapel, “St. Mary’s of the Highways, I”, will be at Sperryville, June 18 through July 1; it will be located on Highway 211 on the outskirts of the town.
A series of religious program^ will be given every evening at 8 o’clock.
This Motor Chapel is sent out by the Catholic people of the State to aid in religious education, increase love for our Savior Jesus Christ and give information about the Catholic Church. It is particularly intended for those communities where there is no Catholic Church in order to give people the opportunity to ask any questions they wish in regard to Scripture, religion, or Catholics. Answers are based on the Bible, history and reason.
Programs every everting consist of religious music, the answering of questions, sermon and movies.
People sitting in chairs provided for the purpose or sitting in their cars will be able to hear easily because a loudspeaking system is used. ' *
Father Joseph Hodges and Father John Cilinski will give the talks nad answer the questions.
SermoVis will be given on Jesus Christ, Marriage, Bible, Confession, Church, Pope, Prayer, Mary, Baptism and the like.
Hymns and moving pictures dealing with the Life of Christ will be a part of the program. One of the moving pictures is the famous “The King of Kings”.
Free literature is distributed. No collections are taken up and nothing is sold. The Chapel trailer is open tq inspection each night after the program.
All persons are invited and are welcome.
