County News Notes
Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. William Meade Fletcher and Miss Ann Meade Smith were in Charlottesville for the day Thursday. Miss Smith, who had been visiting Mrs. Fletcher and Mr. and Mrs. James W. Fletcher at “Thornton Hill” for several days, returned to her home in Madison Thursday evening.
Henry Nethers of Washington, D.C., was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers at their home near Woodville.
Dinner guests of Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson Sunday .were Mr. and Mrs. William Johnson of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Johnson.
Mrs. John A. Keyser, Mrs. Walker Jenkins, Ronnie'Thornhill, Miss Mary Jenkins and Miss Mary Miller Wood spent Tuesday in Winchester.
Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood had supper at the Hy Wy in Front Royal Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Andrews of Florida, are staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goode in Flint Hill for several weeks to visit Mrs. Andrew’s grandmother Mrs. J. B. Williams, also friends and relatives in Rappahannock. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Andrews •were in Washington, D.C., for the dav.
