Miss Ann Neville Blakemore, of Richmond, a cousin of the bride, Miss Margaret Goode and Miss Roberta Armistead of Richmond, Miss Cathleen Smith of Riverton, and Mrs. Werter H. Hurt, Jr., of Culpeper were bridesmaias. They wore dresses and carried bouquets similar to those of the matron of honor.
Jean Elizabeth Fossick and Blair Louise Major, nieces of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. They wore pale blue dresses, of organza and carried nosegays of blue delphinium and pink carnations, with matching flowers in their hair.
Dr. Frank Gonzalez of Richmond was the bridegroom’s best man, and groomsmen were Dr. James Russell Major, a brother of the bride; Richard C. Snow of Hilton Village, John W. Price, Jr., of Washington, J. Rodes Brown, Jr., of Sperryville, and Dr. Robert Macon-Phillips, of Colonial Heights. Master Julian Neville Major, ill, served as ring bearer.
Mrs. Major, mother of the bride, wore a pale blue dress of chiffon and gardenias in her hair and at her shoulder. Mrs. Moffett wore a dress of deep rose chiffon with a matching -hat and corsage of gardenias.
Following the ceremony, a reception was* held at “Riverside,” the home or the bride’s parents, at Riverton.
After a wedding trip, Dr. and Mrs. Moffett will make their home in Norfolk where the bridegroom will interne at De Paul hospital.
