The work of the tuberculosis associations is supported^ by Christmas Seal Sales. 50 per cent of all Christmas Seal proceeds remain right here in the county where they are raised. The Christmas Seal Sale supplies the funds for our Rappahannock r''unty< Tuberculosis Association in important fight to control and tome day annihilate TB in our community. they helped to make possible the mobile x-ray clinics, board for indigent patients in a sanitorium and a large contribution toward the county’s financial part in maintaining a Health Department to instruct patients and their families in the care of tuberculosis in the home.

50 per cent of Christmas Seal funds is forwarded to the state association for research and education

Six per cent is sent to the National Tuberculosis Association, which provides advice and consuls ation to state and local associations, produces materials for the use of the associations, and makes grants for medical research.
