County News Notes

Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Gore and son, Donald and Miss Mary Helen Bruce spent the weekend in Hagerstown, Maryland with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Blusher.

John Quaintance of Alexandria spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs* H. B. Wood and his mother, Mrs. L. C. Quaintance.

John Y. Thompson of Falls Church was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Swindler at 'Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs.. Brue Wood spent Thanksgiving in Newport News with Mrs. Wood’s sister, Mrs. Gay. Mrs. Dunn, their mother, who has been spending some time with her daughter returned with the Woods on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Dodson and their daughter-in-law and her two children Judy and Jane, spent Thanksgiving with Mr. Dodson's mother Mrs. Ernest Dodson.

Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr. and sons, Jim and Tom arrived at Lookout Heights on Saturday after a visit to Flordia.

Mrs. May Compton of Culpeper is spending a few days with Miss Lillie and Miss Nellie Johnson on “Red Oak.”

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Updyke, Mr. and Mrs. George Wood and J. R. Nethers spent Sunday with their brother- in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burke. Robert Nethers and Elder Russell Thompson of Washington, D. C. were guests in the same home. Robert Nethers and J. R. Nethers remained for a visit.

Mrs. H. G. Wayland and her daughter Frances Wayland, Mr. and Mrs. R.' E. Jones and .their two children, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Williams and Robert Bruce of Front Royal, were guests Sunday of Mn. Silas Bruce in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Ennis Brown.

Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton of Pohick and son, Edward spent Thanksgiving Day with their sonin-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr. and Mrs. frank Moffett Sr.

Mrs. Annie Mary Welch, spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her daughter Betty Welch in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Barr in Martinsburg, W. Va. * Mr. and Mrs. Clarence L.
