Commonwealth Attorney R. V. Snead called as witness for the commonwealth, Sheriff J. W. Oritser, and the following Negroes: Annie Starks, Mary G. Fletcher, Brown Patterson, Ida Patterson, and Havana Jefferies.
Witness for the defense were Ira Fincham, W. C. Campbell, and Guy Burke, and three Negroes, Major Freeman, Hetman Patterson, and Frank Starks.
S. A. Cunningham, of Louisa, was Court reporter for the trial.

L H. Beahm has announced that

in color, will be shown at Washington Theatre on Christmas Day.
Mr. Beahm, with foresight, put in an order early in the summer so that this movie would be available for the holiday season. The Bible story has been shown in few places other than the big city theatres.
