Political speculation has held that Smith probably will .. make Fauquier his legal residence and' stay in the Eighth, leaving the turbulent new Tenth to newcomers. Among prospective candidates in the Tenth, the name of State Senator Charles R. Fenwick, of Arlington, a Democrat, has been mentioned most frequently. The area of the proposed Tenth W shown a strong streak of Republicanism, however, as well as a rend to oppose the dominant State Democratic organisation. It is expected to be a hot battleground of.
