In each community three members of a community committee and two alternates and a delegate and alternate to the county convention are to be elected. The elected committeemen will take office immediately and serve for one year, unless re-elected.
The delegates to the county convention will meet (date A place) to name a county PMA committee consisting of a chairman, vice chairman, member and two alternates to administer PMA programs in the county.
The programs administered by the committeemen include the Agricultural Conservation Program, price supports, marketing quotas and acreage allotments, Federal Crop Insurance as well as defense production in cooperation

In urging every eligible farmer to vote, Mr. Barksdale said, “wheather you are satisfied with the administration of the committeemen now in office or not, you should vote anyway. The right to vote means nothing if it is not used.”
