Paul Warner Brown

_Funeral services lor Paul Warner Brown, retired farmer of Sperryville, were held Sunday afternoon from his residence. Mr. Brown died Friday, January 25, after a long period of declining health.

Mr. Brown, 72, was a son of Henry D, Brown and Mrs. Vrginia Brown He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eulelia J. Brown; a son, Paul Frank Brown; one grandson, Richr ard Allen Brown; and a brother, Ebb G. Brown of Rappahannock county. >

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. R H. Thompson, pastor of Thornton Gap Regular Baptist church. Pallbearers were Lyle Rector, James Ashby, Sylvan Carter, James Wayland, Chester Weayer, Henry Kuhn, John Wayland, and Joseph Pauze. Among those serving as honorary pallbearers were Tutt Hume, Lester Yates, Lee Thornton, Charles Cloud, Edward Estes, Ray Rector, Edward “Gore, Luther Jenkins, Frank Coffey, Henry Brown, Willie Jenkins, L. E. Johnson, and Clarence Jenkins. Interment was in the family cemetery near his home.
