An upholstery clink was held at the home of Mrs. L. R. Hudson, Wednesday, for Slate Mills, F. T. 'Valley and Woodville communities The ladies tied springs in overstaffed chairs and in two overstuffed cushions. The ladies taking part in the clinic were Mrs. C. R. Hite, Mrs. L. R. Hudson, Mrs. E. V. Green, Mrs. G. A. Nethers, Mrs. Terrill Weakley and Mrs. Lily Barber. A very tasty dinner was enjoyed . . each one bringing a dish. The chairs will be completed January 81; .
Castleton H.D. dub met with* Mrs. Carolyn Jarvis, Tuesday, " January 22. Mrs. Jarvis conducted devotionals for the group. Miss Elsie Courtney, youth chairman, planned with members their federation goal activities for the year. Members of the club are going to furnish feed bags and Mrs. \ John Woodward and Mrs. Mamie Leake are going to make 5 sets of X-ray gowns.
