Board of Supervisors Rappahannock Gentlemen:
I have given a great deal of time and thought in considering your request to have a Deputy go to the homes and businesses and assess tangible and intangible personal property in the county, and have decided against it for, the present time. 7
I feel that Judge Alexander had enough confidence in me to appoint me to fill the office of Commissioner of Revenue for tho remainder of this year, I was unanimously endorsed by the Democratic Committee as a candidate for the office, and the voters of Rappahannock Cotinty had enough confidence in me to 5”** to this office for a term of four years. I shall certainly try not to betray this confidence and will fulfill the duties of my
