During the winter months is the ideal time to make an inventory of your home grounds tfnd list things that need to be done to make the home grounds more attractive:
1. Replace or pruning overgrown shrubbery, 2. Reparing fence around home. . paint. 3. Make , the driveway entrance into highway safe. 4. Correcting poor drainage to eliminate muddy barnyards, driveways, walks, etc. 5. Providing parking space for guests 6. Screening the view of the barns •with plant material. 7. Improving the lawn. 8. Plantng shade trees.
Time to plant perennial and annual borders. . . study seed catalogues and then make a plan on paper of your border so you can arrange and select the plants that will provide for continous bloom and will be well arranged according to height and color. Schedule for Next Week:
