The undersigned members of the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County request that the Compensation Board disregard the Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said county entered at their meeting held on December 5, 1951, a copy of which is herewith enclosed, and also a resolution of said Board entered at a Special meeting of said Board held on November 19. J"5/'8 cpPy of which is also herewith enclosed, for the reason that the Commissioner of the Revenue of said County refuses to cooperate with the Board of Supervisors as shown by a letter, trom sam Commissioner of Revenue to the Board of Supervisors! ?nt*?oPfcember 10i 19bl? *nd filed with the Board on December 10, 1951, a copy of which is herewith also enclosed for your information.
The a&ove recommendations were made solely upon the understanding the Board had with the Commissioner of Revenue* tnat she would cooperate with the Board in having >an assessor go upon the property and assess all the tangible and intangible property within the County. 6
The undersigned recommend that .you set the salary of the Commissioner of Revenue of Rappahannock County for the vear 1952 at S2.000.00 and that. t.ho. aslanr n-t .
