Two teachers will be termed not-, new and not-old. They are Mrs. W. L. Wake and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr.> Mrs. Wake, as Miss Lauck, was a teacher at Amissville; she is now a resident of Washington and is “home folks” in the county, so when she teaches in Woodville school she cannot be termed new. Mrs. Moffet^was formerly a teacher in Washington High School; her return will he to the county high School.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Grosecfose, who have been in the county for several weeks,will be t teachers in Washington. Mrs. Groseclose will have a section of eight grade work and Mr. Groseclose is shop teacher.
The new athletic coach is Mr, Cascio, a graduate of Shepherd Teachers College, West Virginia. In addition to his duties as coach, Mr. Cascio may teach science classes. At present, he has quarters in the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. (Snippy) Miller at Washington.
Plans are not complete for all class arrangements in the high school. The purposes of many of the teacher*’ meetings is to perfect plans and class schedules. Mrs. David Corbin, who formerly taught Latin, may return to this section, but no definite plans are made! •
At Jiperryville Elementary School, the lunch room is being converted , into a combination of library and lunch room, while the former library is being converted for the fourth grade frotn Washington to he moved in. This is the fourth grade taught by Mrs. J. W. Price. All present plans are subject to change in the forthcoming meetings.
