Tivis Wicker, baritone, captured his audience with a pleasant personality and a powerful set of pipes. His narrative style brought enthusiastic response. His Spirituals were right, and “The Road to Mandalay” was pure entertainment.
Miss Jeanne Chalifoux, the? young harpist, was an ethereal contrast to the vigorous baritone. Many people who had never heard a harp outdoors, expressed favorable reports.
