, Mrs. Clarice S. Mundy entertained for her son, “Billy,” who celebrated his 4th birthday on August 6 at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Singleton. The dinning table was centered with a beautiful birthday cake which was served with ice cream to the following guests, Nancy, \|oe and Jackie Brown, Joe Aylor, Gloria Jean Durden, Joe Ann Fox, David Lyne, Susan Schaefer, Dannie and Kenneth Clater, Frank Jarvis, Randolph Clater, Tonito, “Mike” and Glenn Mathews Jr. Games were directed on the lawn by Mrs. Jessie Clater and Mrs. Lionel Singleton. Mrs. Mundy was assisted in serving the refreshments by Miss Dorothy Jenkins. , Mrs. Doris Mathews and children
Mr. and Mrs. John R. Jenkins and son, “Dinkey” of Indian Head, Maryland were visitors of their relatives in the county over the weekend. Johnnie Jenkins, who had been spending the week with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cloud, returned to Maryland with his parents.
