FHA Committeemen Meet
In Warrenton August 22
The 36 county committeemen in the 12 agricultural counties comprising Jthe consolidated unit of the Farmers Home Administration at Culpeper will hold their annual »meeting at Warrenton August 22, Myrah B. Fields county supervisor, has announced.
The meeting will be held in the Coffee Shoppe, Main Street, Warrenton, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“One of the most important activities of the Farmers Home Administration is the committee meeting each year to review the overall program and operational , plans," Fields said. Committeemen pass on the eligibility of applicants and assist with the administration of' the program in a way that will make it tht/ most benefit to the-fajailies it is inr tended to serve. "i /
Included on the program will pc a review of lendin^policies and the various types of loans available, and the responsibilities of committeemen and supervisors in serving the public. “Both old and new committeemen will be interested in what is to be done,”. Fields said.
Leading the discussions will be James E. Stone, chief of program operations in the State office at Richmond, and Fields, Lewis E. Fraughnaugh, R. O. McCormick and Nina H. Salmons from the Culpeper
