Rev. J. T. Baltimore will hold services at the First Baptist Church, Washington, Sunday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. for the benefit of the Missionary Circle.

There will be a dinner given in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Fletcher Sunday, August 24, sponsored by the Pastor's Aid of the First Baptist Church. Rev. R. C. Davis will be pastor. The price of the dinner is $1 and will start serving at 12 noon.

A special service will be held at First Baptist Church of Washington from 3:30 to 4:30. At this time the pastor Rev. Davis extends a cordial invitation to all members and friends^to be present.

There will be a weiner roast and a social on the lawn of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Carter,. Friday, August 22, at i pan. sponsored by the Senior Choir of the hirst Baptist Church.

Mis. Francis Carter attended the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Laura Washington in Pittsburg, Pa., who passed away August 11. Mrs. Carter was accompanied by her brother, 'Herman Burnett, his wife and son, Ralph of Pittsburg, to her home.

Pfc. Theadore J. Burnett of Fort Meade, Maryland is visiting his aunt, Mrs. Francis Carter. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Burnett, who is also visiting in the Carter home.
