Hisle Land Sold
Lt. Col. Roy Reeve, of Arlington, purchased the land sold at public auction Saturday, August 16, settling the estate of the late C. R. Lfisle. The 130-acre tract was soM for about $7000. Lt. Col. Reeve's father is at present building a house in Swindler Hollow, but the Colonel made no statement as to what use he will make of the property. The house wae not sold. Final bid wras $3200, and this bid was rejected. The building is on a 4-acre tract. Some household furniture was sold, including a few antiques. Those at the sale gave' a pleasant repqrt. Tt rained, off and on, but the spirits of the local people present were not dampened.
