Circuit Court Convenes
On Monday, July 20, Circuit Court convened with Judge Rayner Snead presiding. The following cases were heard and sentence imposed:
Commonwealth vs. Major Melvin Johnson, convicted of a felony; sentenced to penitentiary for a term of three years. *
Commonwealth vs. Kinsey Atkins, convicted of a felony; sentenced to one year in the penitentiary.
Commonwealth . vs. Mrs. Kinsey, Atkins, convicted of a felony; sentenced to a term of six months in the penitentiary.
