CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY
With the blowing out of nine candles Friday night, July 17, Paul Louis Miller became officially nine years of age. Helping him open his presents and eat up the birthday cake and ice cream at Rose Cottage, the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reid, were Louie’s sister, Paula and his cousins, Neville, Nancy, Alice, Mary Miller and Frances Downing. Among others who attended the party were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reid, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Downing Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bowie. (After refreshments lost their attraction, Mrs. Wood volunteered to chauffeur the youths to a shoot-um-up-bang-bang western, while the elders recuperated in the glooming.)
