Newbill Miller left Monday for North Carolina State College, Raleigh, North Carolina to attend the State 4-H Short Course. Newbill is being sent as a delegate to represent the 4-H clubs of Virginia.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas West and son, Richard “Dickie” of Westminister, Maryland were Saturday guests of yMrs. Bartow Brown and Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller.

Dannie Price of Front Royal was a Saturday guest of his grandmother, Mrs. J. W. Price.

Mr. and Mrs. William Groves of Bealton and Mr. and Mrs. William Warton of Washington, D. C. were week-end guests of their mother and, brother, Mrs. Gilbert Wharton and Gibson Wharton.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gough and daughter of “Echo Hill Farm” were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. Gough’s brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Gough of Nokesville Johnnie Weaver spent last week with his uncle and aunt and his sister, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Payne and Miss Shirley Weaver of Washington, D. C.

Miss Shirley Weaver, who has a position in Washington, D. C. spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J Stant Weaver.

Mr. and Mrs. Gough have as their guests this week, Mrs. H. S. Spillman and Mr. and Mrs. John Harron of Annapolis, N* C.

Mr, and Mrs. C. W. King and daughter, June bf Winchester were guests over the week end of Carlyle Lea, while Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea and daughter, Miss Mary Massie Lea were visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Cargill of Chatam, N. J.

Mr. and Mrs. Reid Bicdler and Mrs. Wiliam Curtis and daughter, Susan Ann were guests of Mrs. H. J. Racer from Friday through Sunday.
