There will be an all day meeting at. the Hopewell Baptist church. Dinner will be served to all. Beginning of revival services conducted by Rev. Watts of Washington, D. C., Sunday, July 26. Everyone is invited.

Mrs. Mary Ellen Pratt is having a -party Friday night, July 24 in honor of her son, William Henry Pratt, who is leaving for the armed services July 28. -Arthur Bridges of Washington. D. <C. is spending the week end with 'Nannie Starks.
Mrs. McKinley Weathers who has been a patient at Warren Memorial hospital returned Thursday from the hospital and is reported to be recovering nicely.

C., Mrs. Nellie, "Rolins of Washington, D. C., Miss >Grace Williams and Mr. P. S. Green. John Barbour Jr. was a week-end ^guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall Barbour. On his return home Friday, his sister. Miss Charlotte Barbour came with him. Miss Barbour has been visiting her aunt and sister in Washington, D. C.
