Flint Hill News Notes

Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Long of Grottoes were guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith Jr.

Rev. and Mrs. G. M. Profitt and sons, Alvin and Stanley were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. CampbeH at Twinland.

Mrs. Paul Miller had as her guest from Wednesday until Friday, her mother, Mrs. Charles Reid.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eastham were recent guests of Mrs. Fannie Eastham.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Rector and daughters, Becky and Eleanor spent Sunday at Big Meadows Camping and Picnic Grounds. While there they visited Mrs, Johnson’s brother, Robert Johnson, who is a ranger in that vicinity. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Johnson, Allen Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clatterbuck, Mr. and Mrs. John Partlow: and children, Rosemary and Johnnie and Mr. and Mrs. Chet Parson and chidren, Stanley and Linda of Maryland and Miss Crow of Washington, D. C

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Comstock and son, Larry of Fort Pierce, Fla., arrived Saturday at the home of Mrs. Comstock’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Sisk, Flint Hill, where they will spend a few months.

Mrs. Emma Coppage spent the week end with Mrs. J. P. Cook and visited her son, Eugene, w>ho is working at Skyland during the summer.

Mr and Mrs. Wilbur Davidson and family are spending the week with Mrs. Davidson’s mother, Mrs. M. R. Bradford.
