4-H Fair Held Saturday
Shows Promise For Future
The first Rappahannock County 4-H Fair was held under sunny skies Saturday, October 3 at the Rappahannock High School. Exhibits of work included in the various projects were arranged in the class rooms, while the auditorium was filled with concessions and food booths. The cattle show was held in Jack Miller's bam. The stands were manned by 4-H’ers and members of the county home demonstration clubs.
With blue designating first place; red, second; and white, third; the following prizes were awarded. GIRLS’ CLASSES:
