Little Miss Sandra Menefee was a „ week-end guest of her uncle and aunt * Mr. and Mrs. “Cherry” Watkins and attended the State. Fair in Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Atkins were . in Front Royal Sunday to visit Burnham Atkins, who is a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner left Saturday by train from Washington, D. C. for New York where they sail for Bermuda.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swindler and their small daughter, Linda of Brentwood, Maryland spent the week end vv.th Mr. Swindler's mother, Mrs. O. B. Swindler and they also visited Mrs. Swindler’s mother, Mrs. Annie G. Bruce at “Jackson Hill,” the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruce.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Manuel and children drove over from their home in Browntown on Sunday and accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Chris Schaefer spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Claude Beard at Remington.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Wood had as their guests for dinner on Thursday evening at the Mimslyn Hotel in Luray, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock and her guest, • Miss Lucille Byrd Brown.
Miss Elizabeth Smith spent the week end with Miss Hollie Updike and on Friday Miss Smith and Miss Updike attended the Fair in Richmond.
