MISS WORTH ELECTED SOCIAL CHAIRMAN
Miss Jo, Ellen Worth, daughter of Mrs. Edward Cary, has been elected social chairman of Panhellenic Council, a body consisting of representatives from all the sororities on Madison College Campus. Among her duties will be the planning of the Christmas Dance, and several teas.
REPUBLICANS PLAN FOR OX ROAST ,
Shenandoah County Republicans recently announced that an Ox Roast will be held at the Shenandoah county Fair Grounds October 15 from 4 until 8 o'clock.
Ted Dalton, Republican gubernatorial candidate, Stephen D. Timberlake, Staunton candidate for Lieutenant-Governor, as well as the GOP candidate for General, will attend the feast. Other prominent Republicans of the surrounding areas are expected to be on hand.
There will be no charge; the public is cordially invited.
