Arnold S. Weaklye
Arnold S. Weakley, farmer of Slate Mills, died at his home Saturday morning, September 26, after a long period of declining health. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Warren Corbin and Rev. Leslie Napier conducting the last rites. Burial was in the family section Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Mr. Weakley, 75, was the son of the late Joseph B. Weakley and Mrs. Mary Dodson Weakley of Rappahannock. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanch Hains Weakley, of Slate Mills; two daughters, Mrs. Lester Yowell, Slate Mills and Mrs. Mary Campbell of Duet, Va.; two sons, Raymond Weakley of Culpeper and Carroll Weakley of Brandy: two sisters, Mrs. Wade Jenkins and Mrs. Roberta Burke of Woodville; a brother, John F. Weakley of Viewtown; and 18 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wesley Weakley, Hugh Woodard, Billy Weakley, Audie Weaver, Oscar Dodson, Samuel Jenkins, Robert Jenkins and Richard Weakley. .
