Mrs. Henry Lillard and her daughter, Miss Sallie Lillard of Downingtovvn, Pa., spent the week end and holiday with Mrs. Virginia M. Lewis.
Pvt. John H. Jenkins left Thursday, September 2 for Camp Carson, Colorado where he will be stationed.
On Sunday, August 29th, John H. Jenkins celebrated his 19th birthday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jenkins. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jenkins/ Cpl. Robert Rutherford, Edward C. Jenkins, Charles W. Jenkins, Mrs. William E. Whorton and daughter, Mrs. John H. Jenkins, Virginia Jenkins. In the evening Ray Jenkins attended the celebration.
Week-end and Labor Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H.^ Aylor were Mrs. Eva Striker of^ Baltimore, Mrs. Thomas Cozzo, of Washington, D. C., Mr. and . Mrs. Lloyd- Goodman and their daughter, Miss Shirley Goodman. Recent guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aylor were Mrs. Tom. Jenkins and her two sons, James and Tom, her daughter, Mrs. Leah Poland and her daughter, Linda, all of Baltimore, Md. On Tuseday evening Mrs. H. H. Aylor and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. H. H: Aylor Jr., entertained for Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bill Coates. Besides the honor guests those * present were Dr. and Mrs. John ,P. Snead, Miss Marjorie Snead, Mrs. Raynor Snead and children, Dana, Sam and Ray and Capt. and Mrs. HLJ2.Warwick.
