Miss Fuss Honored
At Surprise Party
Thursday afternoon from 3 to 5 o’clock, the Home Demonstra> tion Clubs of Rappahannock entertained at “Maple Springs, the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller, honoring Miss Elizabeth Fuss. Miss Fuss’ marriage will take place in her home September 11 at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Jessie Rowzie and Mrs. John Pearman, Rappahannock’s first and present presidents of the county, presided at the punch bowl. Among those present were Mrs. Flora B. Stuart, Mrs. L. B. Stuart, Miss Ethel Long, Mrs. R. M. Johnson, Mrs. L. R. Johnsoh, Mrs. Jessie H. Rowzie, Mrs. Leslie Walter, Miss Nellie Johnson, Mrs. Charles Green, Mrs. B. A. Cook, Mrs. G. L. Updike, Mrs. J. S. Weaver, Mrsv C. R. Racer, Mrs. C. G. Reid, Mrs. John Pearman, Mrs. C. T. Bruce, Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. J. P. Valley, Massanova, and Fodderstack clubs, a 4 piece silver coffee service, and vice president, Mrs. Lillard, a mahogany rocker from Flint Hill and Huntly Clubs.
